A small daily puzzle. A perfectly good place to pause.

Help for a short puzzle break

The controls should not be the mystery. Here is what to expect before you start.

Is there a timer or a streak?

No. There is no timer, streak, ranking or penalty for using a hint. Stop midway, open the answer, or skip a day. The puzzles do not need looking after.

How does the daily puzzle change?

The home card selects from a small built-in collection using your device's local date. Puzzles repeat; this is not a promise of a newly authored puzzle every day. Different time zones can show different cards near midnight. Without JavaScript, a fixed keyboard riddle remains available.

Do I need an account or payment?

No. These static puzzles do not require registration or payment. There are no account profiles or paid answer reveals in this site.

Why was my answer not recognised?

The checker compares your text with a limited set of accepted forms, ignoring capitalisation and some punctuation. It cannot judge every sensible alternative. Compare the explanation with your reasoning. If your answer accounts for all the details, a different wording is not automatically wrong. You can report an alternative through the contact page.

Can I reveal the answer immediately?

Yes. Hints and explanations can be opened at any time without submitting an answer. The drawers use native browser controls and remain usable without JavaScript.

Are there text alternatives to visual clues?

Yes. Visual clues include text equivalents, and selectable object targets have accessible labels. Text routes may change the visual part of a challenge: naming an object removes the need to recognise its drawing. We aim to preserve useful reasoning rather than claim the experiences are identical.

What does the sharing button copy?

It copies the local date, a short participation or solved message, and the home puzzle link. It does not copy your typed answer or the solution. It does not post anywhere automatically. Clipboard access may require HTTPS and browser permission; if copying fails, selectable text appears instead.

Are my guesses saved or sent?

Puzzle guesses are checked in your browser and are not saved by the site or sent to a puzzle server. Reloading resets them. Hosting providers may still process ordinary request information when delivering the pages. Read the privacy notice for the distinction.

How can I report a problem?

Use the contact page to prepare a message with the page name, the clue and your reasoning. Include your browser and device if the problem concerns the display. The composer creates a local draft; it does not send email. Avoid including passwords, financial details or unnecessary personal information.
